Orange Honey Suck lonicera cilosa
The most common native vine on Bainbridge Island, found often on the side of a road where second growth forest is coming back, allowing some sun and little disturbances. Grows in and over salal and small plants to 15-20'. Easily transplanted, I have found it best to put in a pot with its roots and some stem coiled with a dash of rooting hormone and letting it establish itself for a season before placing it in its final resting spot. I also tie it in place, for like most natives, it is a slow grower in the shade.
