Mushrooms and lichens

The mushrooms and lichens on the grounds of the Tree Garden are numerous and varied. I initially tried to cultivate the mushrooms by bringing in the dirt from where they emerge, but found that does not work. More recently I have laid to rest trunks and branches of different species of dead trees throughout. Different mushrooms appear at diffferent stages of rot on different woods, in conjunction with different living trees. I still don't know the names of any of them, so a picture gallery is all I can do. Perhaps in the future an expert will educate me and I can share the knowledge with you.
