Western Trillium - "Wake Robin" Trillium ovatum - deciduous

4"-14" tall, found in shade, most comfortable in organic decomposed leaf litter with a rhizome 4-6" deep

I have found it most common on Bainbridge Island under old maples with a large annual leaf drop where it can poke up through the surface without competition from moss

Easily transplanted
